There are traditional memorial shapes, manufactured in Vermont, which people often choose.

The length and height can vary and the thickness can range from four to twelve inches, in two inch increments. The only exception to this is for grass markers which we offer at three inches thick.

The top of a memorial is most often straight, oval or serpentine, unless a special shape has been designed for you or the stone is from our imported selection which offers either traditional or unique shapes.

Upright stones traditionally have a base under them that goes on the cement foundation. Slant and wedge markers are designed to be put on a base or placed directly on the foundation.

There is a wide array of unique shapes that are most frequently imported stones but can be manufactured in Vermont. In most cases imported stones have the design and lettering done in Vermont.
