There are many different styles/fonts which can be used. The most frequently used ones are Modified and Condensed Roman. Some are available only in certain sizes. Letters can be done by sandblast or etching

Standard Sandblasted letters – are sunk into the granite and go in quite deep. They need to be in a panel on the polished finish of lighter colors. If the stone is steeled then you can have sandblasting directly on the stone.

Skin Frosted Sandblasted letters - are used on a dark granite as this process only removes the polish. This removes the need for a panel.

Outline Skin Frosted Sandblasted letters - are like Skin Frosted but have an additional outline around the letter. This process is more expensive but gives a very unique look.
