Cremations

A cremation is a choice being made by an increasing number of people. Here in Vermont there are no laws about what may be done with the ashes / cremains. They may be put on the mantel, scattered on some locations or buried. If the ashes are buried in a cemetery it is important to know what their regulations are. The number of cremations allowed in a single lot, what type of urn may be used and whether a cremation vault is required all vary. Some cemeteries have special sections for cremations where only flat markers may be used. There are many different types of memorials that can be used to hold the ashes or regular memorials for ashes buried in the ground. We have different styles of Urns to hold the ashes that are made of granite and usually do not require a cement vault. Please refer our Memorial Photo Gallery for some ideas for your memorial needs. Please let us know how we could help you with any of your needs for creations urns and memorials. |
